AAMFT Approved Supervision

The road to becoming a fully licensed therapist is long, but worth it! I am committed to offering a supervision experience (for both graduate-level practicum students and licensed state interns) that is safe, challenging and will launch you toward your own career goals in the field of therapy.

What you can expect from the supervision experience:

  • Weekly clinical supervision hours (individual, didactic, and/or group)

  • Assistance in developing and sustaining a clinical caseload

  • Emphasis on legal and ethical requirements

  • Enhancement of your clinical knowledge and skills

  • Exploration of different therapeutic theories and methods

  • Learn to manage challenging and unexpected moments that arise in the therapy room

  • Guidance when dealing with self-of-the-therapist moments

  • Support in preparing for the national exam

  • Continuing education training opportunities to enhance clinical expertise

The field of therapy in Nevada is always growing and changing. As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, I am passionate about guiding a new generation of ethical, competent therapists, who will help to create lasting change in the lives of their clients. I am approved by the Nevada State Board of Marriage and Family Therapists and Clinical Professional Counselors to supervise students and interns who are working toward their therapy licensure.

The supervisory relationship is a long-term commitment that is based on mutual trust, respect and, often times, vulnerability. It is important that you feel comfortable with your choice of clinical supervisor. Feel free to reach out to me, and we will interview each other to see if we are a good fit!
