Sadie
Sadie takes her job very seriously! Her purpose in the therapy room is to bring a loving, connected, and safe space for healing. She received her therapy dog certification from Norton Dog Training in 2022, learning how to gently love on the people in her world. She is also trained to provide “deep pressure therapy” to aid in physical and emotional regulation. When her services are not required, she can’t pass up the opportunity for a good nap in the corner of the office.
When Sadie is not working with Abby, she is home with the Peddieson family. Just like a human child, Sadie brings out ALL her personality when she is home. She is equal parts sweet and sassy!
Buzz
Buzz is a 3-year old Bernedoodle; 85lbs of love and fluff! He earned his therapy dog certification from Norton Dog Training in 2025. Buzz excels at his job to make people smile and feel good. We have discovered his personality is best suited for therapy work in the community, rather than the therapy office. He shines in groups with kids, adults, seniors, and anyone else who could benefit from a little love and joy.

How can The Therapy Pups benefit my therapy?
In the Therapy Room:
Sadie is in the therapy room to provide physical grounding and elicit positive emotion. There is something magical (actually neurological) that happens when you have a positive interaction with a dog. Whether you are working to regulate emotionally, heal relationally, process trauma, develop coping skills, or survive a season of grief, Sadie brings huge benefit to our time together. Her fur is soft, her eyes are genuine, and she has no hidden motives other than pure love and connection.
In the Community:
Sadie and Buzz are also available to show up with their powers of love and connection within the community. We are willing to respond in crisis situations or provide mental health education to businesses, schools, or any other group who might benefit from time with them.
